On Wednesday students were given the opportunity to take part in a workshop with New York Times Best Selling author/illustrator Adam Wallace. It was wonderful to see students living out the PBS motto of Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Your Best as they sat and listened to the Adam. All students were engaged in following Adam’s verbal instructions and creating personal art pieces. The library will have some of Adam’s books available for loan after the school holidays. These books follow a rhyming model, with instructions on how to draw, which assists with improving comprehension skills – whilst also being engaging and just plain fun.
