One of Australia’s most important national occasions, ANZAC Day goes beyond the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915. It is the day in which we remember all Australians who served and died in all wars and operational service past and present.
Every year, students from a range of local schools attend the Schools ANZAC Service run by the Rotary Club of Manningham City. A group of Year 12 students attended the service and had the opportunity to lay a wreath on the Templestowe Memorial Park at the corner of Foote Street and High Street. This solemn occasion is of special significance as it fosters Community Engagement and partnerships to enhance student learning. .
