The Pleasant Road Campus offers a room that is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). P7 have been able to participate in a variety of weekly activities, co-ordinated by Eva (our ICT Leading Teacher). Each week a new aspect of STEAM is explored. Students in P7 have had exposure to robotics and coding through resources such as Cubetto, Bee Bots and OSMO. These resources help to develop students’ creative problem solving skills and creativity. P7 have also explored LEGO construction materials and have replicated LEGO pictures and emotions. The STEAM Lab has proven to be an engaging and fun place for students to develop and foster their independent thinking.
